Call for papers: European Procurement & Public Private Partnership Law Review

Legaturi: Call for papers, Specialisti

The EPPPL – European Procurement & Public Private Partnership Law Review welcomes articles, annotations of judgments, reports and book reviews from the academia as well as from the practice for its issue 2/2012.

After seven years of successfully covering the evolution of PPPs, the EPPPL has now broadened its focus to legal and policy issues raised by Procurement.

Facing severe budgetary restraints, the modern State has to balance rising demands for transparency and accountability in its economic intervention with the necessity to deliver public services efficiently.

Procurement procedures and PPPs are two major legal and policy instruments of public sector management which provide for the procedural and substantive interactions necessary to meet this challenge.

Submissions tackling the following issues (non exclusive list) are particularly welcome:

  • How do Public-Private Partnerships deliver public services in the EU Member States?
  • How do Concessions feature as Public-Private Partnership legal and policy choices?
  • How are EU rules implemented in the new Member States?
  • What is the latest state of jurisprudence at European and national level?

The deadline for the second issue of the EPPPL since its relaunch this Spring is 26 July 2012.
